The first major EthicalCoach initiative was situated in Ethiopia, a large and complex African country with a storied history and huge potential.

The opening invitation-only Leadership Coaching Summit event was attended by some 400 leaders from the Ethiopian charitable / non-government organization / civil society sector.

The Summit’s success was then followed with the roll-out of coaching grants to 24 carefully selected NGOs, with all Summit attendees receiving additional curated leadership development resources on an ongoing basis.

To support the success of the initiative, 30 local volunteers received coach training and partnerships were formed with a number of leading local organizations.
