Joan van den Brink

Executive Coach, Leadership & Talent Expert

Joan’s life purpose is to create intimate environments so that people thrive; this acts as her north star in all her work and interactions with others. She has extensive experience in working with organizations as a senior manager, executive and as a consultant. She has specialised in leadership and talent since 2001 and been an executive coach for over 15 years. Prior to her consulting experience, Joan has enjoyed an eclectic career spanning Marketing, Operations, HR & Communications. Her expertise lies in working with teams and individuals in creating bespoke solutions to specific people needs. Joan has a strong track record in building trusted advisor relationships and supporting others to grow and develop.

My ideal conditions are simply to be able to form a strong connection with the individual being coached and for them to be willing to explore beneath the surface to gain deeper insights to who they are as people and why they do what they do. This is my sweet spot and I’m drawn to people who are going through some kind of transition be it a time in their life, change in career, new appointment etc. to help them successfully navigate their change.

I am working on a number of initiatives related to my purpose to support us, human beings, to show more courage, compassion & wisdom towards each other and so create positive and safe environments to deal with the problems that we are facing in the world today.
