The Ethiopian NGO Leadership Coaching Summit that took place in Addis Ababa October 4 - 5, 2018 launched the Ethiopian initiative. Four hundred carefully selected NGO leaders committed to tackling some of the most pressing environmental and humanitarian challenges participated in the Summit. There they experienced the profound benefits of working with some of the very best coaches in the world on issues of relevance to them and their communities.
By making the highest levels of executive coaching accessible to NGO leaders and their teams, the Summit’s goal was to empower these individuals to build on their track records of success and to step forward with confidence to achieve their goals. Attendees left the event with a vision for change and an action plan supported by tools and practical solutions to build on their organization’s strengths, attract additional funding, and turn their plans into reality. Participants experienced the power of coaching on a personal level, exploring new perspectives and insights while building leadership capability.
Attendance at the summit was fully sponsored by EthicalCoach through WBECS. The Summit was held in the famous UNECA building in Addis Ababa and was hosted by the Ethiopian Charities and Societies Forum (ECSF) in conjunction with EthicalCoach and our local partner, the Consortium of Christian Relief and Development Association (CCRDA).
